First four Canadians qualified for the Grand Finals

During the 2022 Canadian Open presented last weekend, four drivers qualified for the World Finals to be held in Portugal next November.

They are Alexis Baillargeon (Rotax Mini-MAX) who will be in his second consecutive participation, Ryan Maxwell (MAX Junior), Patrick Woods-Toth (MAX Senior) for whom it will be a return to the world final and Lucas Pernod (DD2), also in his second consecutive participation.

Six invitations to the World Finals will be awarded at the ASN Canadian Championships, August 18 – 21, 2022 in Bowmanville, ON, based on a mini championship combining the results of the Canadian Open and the Canadian Championships.

In the meantime, six other invitations will be up for grabs in Western Canada at the 2nd round of the Western Canadian Final to be held in Warburg, AL, July 29-31.
