The Canadian Open will be held at the Complexe ICAR in Mirabel from July 28 to 30. During the event, in addition to the super trophies awarded to the top three drivers in each category, over twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) worth of prizes will be up for grabs, thanks to the participation of renowned sponsors.
In all categories, a Super Pole will take place on Friday, and the top three finishers will win:
Pole position: $300.00 cash
2nd position: $200.00 Canadian Tire / Motomaster gift card
3rd position: $100.00 cash
In the Rotax categories, four invitations will be awarded to participate in the 2023 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in the Rotax Mini-MAX, MAX Junior, MAX Senior and DD2 categories. The winners of these invitations will also receive a prize of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) for their trip. The Rotax Grand Finals will take place in December in Sakhir, Bahrain.
These cash prizes are made possible by the participation of Groupe Touchette, Metro Supply Chain and Motomaster for the gift cards.
On Saturday evening, SRA Karting is organizing a festive evening with dinner, pizzas cooked on site, music and a special activity open to team members and supporters. The grand prize for the special activity will be a BRP Experiences adventure worth two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), courtesy of BRP and Groupe Contant.
A second announcement will be made in the next few days for the special prizes offered in the Briggs & Stratton and Shifters categories and the drivers’ simulator challenge.
