RMC Grand Finals: DD2 presentation

Canada is always one of the strongest squads in the DD2 class. Since 2005, Team Canada won 4 DD2 titles in 7 editions. The last two winners of the Grand Finals in the DD2 class are part of Team Canada. Ben Cooper is the current champion when he won the title last year in Portugal and Pier-Luc Ouellette won the year before in Al Ain, U.A.E. Marco DiLeo is one of the regular Team Canada member and Brendon Bain will be at his first participation at the Grand Finals.

Qualified from: Eastern Canadian Karting Championships

Ben Cooper

Qualified from: Euro Challenge

Age: 23

Hometown: Mont-Tremblant, QC

Participation at the RMCGF: 6th.  3 times RMCGF Champion: 2008 Italy and 2011 U.A.E. in the Senior MAX class and current champion in DD2 class in Portugal.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Marco DiLeo

Qualified from: Florida Winter Tour

Age: 26

Hometown: Markham, ON

Participation at the RMCGF: 6th . Previous participations: 2004 Canary Islands, 2005 Malaysia, 2009 Egypt, 2011 U.A.E. (best results with 8th place) and 2012 Portugal.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pier-Luc Ouellette

Qualified from: Canadian National Championships

Age: 26

Hometown: Ste-Anne-des-Plaines, QC

Participation at the RMCGF: 7th.   Twice DD2 RMCGF Champion (2007 U.A.E., 2011, U.A.E.), Vice-champion in 2008, Italy.
